Neuro Rehab Results is a private interdisciplinary practice committed to clinical expertise in neurological rehabilitation. Each therapist is an advanced practitioner with post graduate academic and clinical training in a variety of areas. Current services offered are physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy and nursing.
WHO DO WE TREAT? <<
Any neurological condition including spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, Parkinsons disease, cerebral palsy and multi trauma injuries.
WHAT TYPES OF TREATMENT AND TRAINING ARE AVAILABLE? <<
The types of treatment offered include functional retraining, body weight supported treadmill training, functional electrical stimulation, acupuncture, cognitive retraining, assessment and recommendations for equipment for independence, wheelchair seating and splinting.

Skilled problem-solving of the client's functional activities enables us to provide specific training to optimise functional independence.

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE THIS? <<
- Through community based, family centred development of a meaningful programme for the individual client. Home and community visits provide the basis of what the client can do with a little assistance.
- Education of the client and family regarding the impact of integration of a programme into a weekly and daily schedule.
- Motivation to encourage self responsibility of life choices. This encourages the client to take self responsibility of his/her own programme.
- Review and modification of the training programmes with a view to long term client goals.
